This semi-antique Tibetan rug represents the pinnacle of Himalayan textile craftsmanship, knotted around 1960 using raw wool from the Tibetan highlands. Its 160,000 knots per square meter and its impressive size of 339 × 256 cm make it a masterpiece of rare qualities: natural sheen, exceptional density, and an authentic patina. Professionally cleaned and presented in excellent condition, this oriental rug embodies the authenticity of traditional weaving.

This is a handmade oriental rug, made from durable and natural materials.
The way it is knotted and the diversity of the patterns make this rug a unique piece and highlight its authentic and handcrafted character.
This is an excellent rug with an extremely long lifespan.

This is a lightly used and cleaned rug that can be laid down as is.
This magnificent Tibetan rug was hand-knotted around 1960, using the finest unbleached wool from sheep in the high Tibetan region.
This wool is naturally very oily due to the cold; it acts as insulation for the sheep.
When used in carpets, it not only provides a splendid extra shine but also a natural protective layer.
High-quality wool is (almost) impossible to find.
Natural color differences between pieces are visible, as the wool is NOT bleached before the first dye bath.
This gives the rug an authentic look and contributes to the character of this rug, which is full of stories.
