Rare and entirely original vintage lounge chairs, designed by Aksel Bender Madsen for Bovenkamp (Hilversum) in the 50s/60s.

These iconic armchairs come from the original owner and have always been exceptionally well cared for within the family. Purchased in 1969 and reupholstered around 1980, they are therefore in excellent condition.

These iconic armchairs are a magnificent example of mid-century modern, Dutch-inspired Neo-Scandinavian design. Their organic shape, combined with high-quality materials and exceptional comfort, makes them highly sought-after pieces for collectors and design enthusiasts. The elegant, continuous armrests in solid teak, paired with oak legs and soft, organic lines, give the armchairs their distinctive character.

Covers with a light beige wool fabric, including cushions.

The set has recently been checked and cleaned by an upholsterer. The armchairs are in excellent condition with no noticeable signs of use.
