This piece is a model by designer Vanessa Mitrani. There are very few copies of it.
It is emblematic of his work on the constraint of glass, blown into a metal structure, and carried by a mixture of materials.
Here, the transparency, roundness and fragility of the glass contrast with the opaque, pointed metal "teeth" that surround it.
The glass is mouth-blown inside the bronze structure, from which it springs and from which its shape is born.
Vanessa Mitrani is distributed worldwide by prestigious brands such as Roche Bobois, Lane Crawford, Bergdorff Goodman and Cassina.
Some of his creations are part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Decorative Arts in Paris.
The elements are made in close collaboration with artisans, and are assembled in her workshop in Pantin, near Paris where she designs all her collections.
