The Parioli chair represents a piece of Italian design history. Designed by Ennio Fazioli and produced by MIM (Mobili Italiani Moderni) in the 60s.
The Parioli office chair is composed of a supporting structure with shells in high-strength rosewood curved plywood to which polyurethane foams are fixed. The upholstery can be in leather or fabric. It has a cast aluminum base that is supplied fixed or swiveling, while comfort is ensured by two points of articulation, one between the base and the seat, and one between the seat and the backrest. Significant characteristics were identified in solidity, agility, elasticity, and lightness. Originally, the series consisted of four pieces between armchairs and armchairs with armrests and a seat on a base that could be fixed to the floor.
MIM, Mobili Italiani Moderni, is an Italian company that, in the 1950s and 1960s, contributed significantly to the spread of innovation in Italian design and production.
