Sebastiaan Vos began in 1992 the drawings that express the story of the metaphor of the candle flame.
The first creation was a moving chandelier, which was named Kantelaar.
The sale of this Kantelaar was a great success.
What Sebastiaan noticed was the interplay of lines that emerged between the Kantelaar and the objects surrounding it.
The candle burns down and becomes lighter.
Weight loss is the driving force here.
Then it became clear that the shrinkage of the candle and the heat of the flame could also be driving forces.
