All cushions are filled with goose down – incredible comfort and it curls back into its original position

In creating this sofa, Citterio seamlessly blended modern simplicity, artistry, and comfort. Furthermore, this design encourages a shift in thinking about sofas. The Groundpiece is a sofa that adapts to changing lifestyles and habits. "Today, we relax, watch TV, read, or dine on a sofa, and all of this can be done effortlessly with this innovative piece!" This model is an icon of the Flexform collection and is considered a soft focal point in many interior styles. Thanks to the introduction and implementation of various innovations, such as the use of materials and the integration of a storage/display unit in the armrests, it is a design embraced by many for its understated elegance, functionality, and comfort. The comfortable design is available in several configurations. The low, deep Groundpiece exudes calm and softness, encouraging a relaxed seating position. A sprung seat cushion filled with down or a combination of plastic and Dacron provides optimal seating comfort. Furthermore, the back cushion, with or without a bolster, offers an ultra-soft experience. If desired, the Groundpiece's consoles can be used as a stand, a base for accessories, or fitted with shelves for storage. These padded armrests are upholstered in a choice of fabric or leather. This model invites relaxation. For added sturdiness, this sofa is constructed with a metal frame and synthetic foam padding. This frame is covered with a protective fabric, and the metal legs have been treated with an epoxy lacquer.
