The RUST BIRD I pendant lamp, covered in natural rust, is Gie El's most recognizable model. This lamp is like a bird in flight, both harmonious and dynamic. It's a lamp with a strong character, designed for those who appreciate unconventional, Polish design.

Rust-colored sheet metal is one of Gie El's favorite materials. As architect and Gie El co-founder Jacek Rypuła says, "Rust is the new gold." We achieve the rust finish on the fine steel in collaboration with nature, allowing it to leave its mark on the product. Each time, it is slightly different, subtly modified, depending on external atmospheric conditions. It can be said with certainty that the lamp is painted by nature's hand. After the rust finish is achieved, the material is protected with a colorless, matte coating, making it suitable for indoor use without getting dirty or flaking.

The modern design of the lamp, which reveals the bulb, allows for decorative variations. For this model, we recommend using an Edison-style bulb with a visible filament, which will further enhance the lamp's character and the interplay of light.
