The Rolex Datejust reference 16233 embodies the timeless elegance of the Swiss manufacture with its 36mm case in steel and 18k yellow gold. Produced from 1988 as the successor to the legendary ref. 16013, this prestigious timepiece combines precious materials with world-renowned mechanical reliability. This vintage example from the 1990s is in very good condition, equipped with the characteristic Jubilee bracelet and a fluted gold bezel.

The Rolex Datejust reference 16233 first made its appearance in 1988, boasting notable upgrades over its predecessor.
The ref. 16233 was the direct replacement for the ref. 16013, which is sometimes known as the American Psycho Rolex.
This reference maintained the classic 36mm case diameter from years past, which while a bit on the modest side by today's standards still wears very well on a range of wrist sizes.

Even though the series came to an end in the mid 2000's, the Datejust ref. 16233 is a thoroughly modern version of the watch, and one with the classic two-tone Rolex look.
