Porcelain, firing temperature 1240°C.
The coral glaze is a further accentuation of the "volcanic" style of glazes.
Large, dense, thick craters, almost a muscular structure that envelops the structural sandstone, are accompanied by a network of smaller, thicker cavities.
The glaze is thick and viscous, greasy, and creates visible drips on the lower edges of the pieces. Sometimes the glaze flows to the point of becoming a structural support for the work itself.
Signed at the base.
