Recognizing an authentic work
An authentic Leonor Fini lithograph always bears a handwritten signature in pencil, usually in the lower right corner. The edition number (for example, 105/200 or N/Z for lettered prints) appears in the lower left corner. The most common papers are Arches (fine grain, noticeable thickness) and Rives (smooth surface, brilliant white). Any unsigned print or one printed on ordinary paper should be treated with caution.
