Produced by Make Nordic, in Denmark. A popular design company, specialzed in in reproducing Danish mid-century design assets, from renowed Danish designers.
This versions are the talles one, called « Bar Chair » with a body in black iron, and with a very confortable seat in FSC certified Oak Wood Veneer..

The Piet Hein bar stool is based on his world-famous SUPERELLIPSE, which gives the chair both edge and format. The minimalist shape comes from the geometric formula that made Piet Hein world-famous.  The graphic expression is light and elegant. It is also a highly functional chair with a high level of seating comfort.
The UGO bar stool is made in Denmark. It is designed to be used, and the strong quality materials mean it will last for many years. The elegant frame made of recyclable steel is powder coated in matte black for a beautiful finish.

The fundamental and very special thing about Piet Hein was the way in which he managed to unite what is artistic and subjective with what is scientific and objective. For most people there is a big gap between the artistic and the scientific, but not for Piet Hein. He developed throughout his life as both an artist and a scientist, due to his studies in both art, philosophy and theoretical physics.
